If you think it’s noticeable, stretchy bras (including non wire bras) with inserts (just wear the insert on the breast which is smaller) so you’re not left with gaping fabric. This where one boob is bigger than the other, it’s usually the left (although not always) this is because your heart pumping blood and it’s situated on the left hand side. So here we go nine different shapes of boobs. I think it’s important to know about different shape breasts when you are designing so you can work out if your design is not fitting for a particular reason - and understand that your design won’t be the best for for everyone. How much more fun would that be at fittings, “oh you have the splendid shaped boobs, wait there I have the bra for you”.įor the past year I have been putting different shape boobs up on Instagram, but thought I’d transfer all that information up on here so it was ready to see it all together rather than scrolling. I do think though that the person who named all the different breast types missed a trick, they are all quite boring descriptive names, if I’d had the chance to name the different shape boobsI would have named them something like, splendid, fabulous etc. I knew that boobs come in all different shapes but began to understand that how the different shapes suited different shape bras. I learnt about different shape boobs when I was launching my lingerie brand, with my speciality being with the bigger sized boobs, I began to research why one bra fits one person but not the other with the same size boobs.

For anyone interested in this style of one–room recording, what’s great about this mix is that the drums and piano mics seem to have been hard–panned to opposite sides, so you can hear what the balance sounded like without each of their direct signals by simply listening to the left and right channels separately. The closer mic positions for the saxophone and bass are also reflected in their greater degree of mechanical noise - though this is of an aesthetically pleasing variety to my mind, emphasising the breathiness of the sax and the upright bass’s plucking transients and string character.Īnother thing to take from the session pictures is that there seem to be no gobos separating the players, so spill would inevitably have formed an integral part of the ensemble sound. The position of the drums mic - around chest height, a few feet in front of the kit - makes a lot of sense, given the rather ride–heavy balance and spiky stick definition on the recording, while the mellowness of the piano’s tone was doubtless aided by keeping its mic just outside the edge of the open lid about three feet from the strings. John Bolger’s Dave Brubeck Jazz site, for instance, has a tremendous picture showing each instrument’s single spot mic in situ. One of the most instantly recognisable jazz recordings, and the first single in its genre to sell a million copies, this record is also very educational from an engineering perspective, not least because there are some great session photos which show pretty much everything you’d want to know about the mic setup used on the Columbia Studios tracking dates. South of the South is one of many Disney films with overtly racist themes: Take “What Made the Red Man Red?,” a song from Peter Pan (1953) that contains racist depictions of indigenous people, and Dumbo’s Jim Crow character (1941), which employs derogatory stereotypes of African Americans, as just two examples. In March, Disney executive chairman Bob Iger confirmed that Song of the South would not be released on the company’s new streaming service, Disney+, because it was “not appropriate in today’s world,” reported Tom Grater for Deadline. But the film’s 1986 theatrical run proved to be its last public outing, and after that year, it remained locked away in the so-called “ Disney Vault.” Walter White, then-executive secretary of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), sent telegrams to newspapers arguing that the movie “helps to perpetuate a dangerously glorified picture of slavery” and “gives the impression of an idyllic master-slave relationship which is a distortion of the facts,” according to the Oakland Museum of California.Ī lobby card for the 1972 rerelease of Song of the South Public domain via Wikimedia Commonsĭisney rereleased Song of the South multiple times in the decades following its premiere.
